Ocuvite® Complete is an advanced supplement, formulated to provide nutritional support for the eye based on the most current research. Ocuvite® Complete contains high quality omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, zeaxanthin, vitamins C & E, and zinc.

PreserVision® Range

PreserVision® by Bausch & Lomb is a range of high potency antioxidant supplements developed from a formulation studied in a landmark 10-year eye health trial.

Conducted by the US National Eye Institute, the study monitored health in over 4,000 50-80 year-old participants, and found that the supplements provided by Bausch & Lomb were suitable for maintaining eye health in those with intermediate or advanced AMD. These supplements reduced the progression of AMD among those with moderate to severe AMD by 25% and reduced visual acuity loss caused by advanced AMD by 19%, and are thus recommended by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in the management of AMD.

PreserVision® Original

PreserVision® Original is a high potency antioxidant food supplement containing beta-carotene, vitamins C and E, zinc and copper.

PreserVision® Original has been formulated to optimise the dietary intake of nutrients important to the eye. The formulation, tested in the National Eye Institutes (NEI) Age-Related Eye Disease Study (AREDS), is available in tablet form. PreserVision®Lutein

PreserVision® Lutein (soft gels) is specifically formulated as an alternative for people who have a high exposure to outdoor blue light, those who smoke or have smoked in the past, or those for whom a higher level of lutein may be relevant. Current or former smokers are recommended to avoid food supplements that contain beta-carotene, as these may increase their risk of tobacco-related cancers. Research also indicates that smokers may also have less lutein and zeaxanthin pigment in their macula.

PreserVision® Lutein is similar to the PreserVision® Original formula, but replaces vitamin A with 10mg of lutein. Lutein supplementation is a practical way to help ensure adequate lutein intake, helping sustain serum lutein concentrations and macular pigment density.⁶
